I found this DVF scarf in my favorite consignment store. The unusual color combination enchanted me and energized my search for the right item to compliment the distinctive design. The cotton sweater I used for the bottom fashioned its own straight shape that drapes with a slimming effect sans cling or tightness. The color reminds me of the terra cotta pots that have waited empty in the garage all winter, longing to be filled with soil and blooms.
Silk on top
fine gauge cotton knit
Lilac, orange, bronze and red leaves scatter on elegant black silk to blur the eye as the bodice becomes the sleeves of this tunic. Attached to a fine gauge cotton sweater knit bottom, the piece flatters and drapes comfortably. Colors and fabric delight the wearer in every season.
