This is one of those pieces that created itself. All I did was I gather remnants of linen pants, belts and scarves and laid them out in several combinations. At first, I sewed the pieces together without the dropped inseam. Imagine my surprise when there was no way to put it on the dress form! I opened the inseam, added fabric and tailored the shoulders making it wide enough to slip on without closures. The extra fabric draped instantly and disappeared creating what looks like a dress but its really a wide leg one piece!
Jersey cotton tank top sewn to linen on lower section. Fits the size 4-6 dress form perfectly.
Looks like a dress but its actually a divided one piece with an exaggerated dropped inseam, like a harem pant. Flouncy petal hem. Step in and go! No closures.
